No, I am not sabre rattling in an attempt to get people to fight against Nash.
It's obvious that the current player base and current Immortal population can't recognize low hanging fruit that may improve the game play build a larger playerbase.

I challenge all of you to:

1) Find me one idea posted by a player that doesn't immediatly benefit them
2) Find me an idea posted that benefits cooperation, teamwork and grouping.
3) Find me a set of players and FLI's that are working together to advance a storyline or enrich the realm. (Besides Blake - Yay You)

I'm trying to make a real easy point here. Top to Bottom this is everyone's responsibility. Step outside yourselves for just a second and see the posibilities if you all work together. Single changes, tweaks or bandaids are not the solution. Some things are so disfunctional that they need a complete re-work.
Changes need to happen. This realm is stagnating because any change or cool thing Tynian wants to do is immediatly met with resistance to the point that nothing happens. I'm suprised he's not completely deflaited because the amount of sh*t in here far outweighs the occasional *Thanks Tynian* post.
Change is uncomfortable. But not embracing it dooms the change from the start. Change cannot be effective if it is resisted at every point ad nauseum. There never seems to be any room for middle ground or compromise.

Now I'm just a guild sitting mage waiting for someone to ask me for Id's. But being on the outside looking in, I don't see a pile of crap. I see a field of fertilizer ready for planting.

Show me something new. Show me some inspiration to go out regear again. TFC is nostalgic to me. The golden age of radio to the MMORPG. Nostalgic isn't cool. Retro is cool. Make TFC retro.

Offended? Good. What are you gonna do about it? Flame me or suprise me by doing something constructive? My expectations are low. Won't be hard to exceed them.

Hail Tynian!

Well said, Furnock. Kudos. If I wasn't already writing this in my sleep, I'd say something more intelligent (yeah, right!). Thanks, Tynian!!! He's right. You've given us one hell of a home for years now. We don't say it enough. Nor do we leave room or suggestions for compromise. Meh. Why do I always want to respond to posts when I'm too tired to think?

For myself my activity has dropped dramatically due to school and work both starting back up right on top of eachother so I have time for little else.

As for my posts, I usually resist alot of the proposed changes but I'd like to think I do so for rather selfless reasons, and that the ideas I have posted were rather selfless as well. I know they were intended that way. The reason I resist and argue against many of the ideas presented is I honestly feel that they will hurt not help the game in their current form. There is nothing wrong in my oppinion with not wholeheartedly embracing every single idea put out there and voicing concerns where you have them, valid or not. Like the saying goes "measure twice, cut once".

-Edit: As always, your work is much appreciated Tynian
