I am not justifying anything, i am not cryling like some do, i am not complaining in anyway, i am clearing things up, respond to the post, add comments or what have you if you like, i will not be returing to the thread after i post it

What has transpired lately is mostly my fault, i gave Hork the idea of keeping the weapon, i also edged him on, so i wouldnt trust me either, an evil alingment as per "help evil"

"EVIL
EVIL: Only has an obligation to followers of the same Evil faith... and maybe
not even then, if the god allows followers to harm each other. Evil from
other faiths may or may not be trusted. Are the other Evil faiths plotting
against you? Is your OWN faith plotting against you? Neutrals can be used
for evil purposes. The Good are the foolish, and should be tricked, killed,
stolen from and punished for their idiotic ideals.

Giant-kin and rangers may become Evil, but due to their inherently good
nature, they pay a price for such an action. Non-evil giant-kin and rangers,
respectively, are automatically justified to attack (and kill) evil members
of their group (within the PK range) with no debt or even multi-kill
penalties. Further, racist guards will not recognize evil giant-kin as
true giant-kin.

It's true. we dont have an obligation to followers of other evil faiths or neutrals or anyone, we are looking out for our selves as it clearly states

"The Good are the foolish, and should be tricked, killed,
stolen from and punished for their idiotic ideals"
see heres the thing, it isnt limited to just goods, we do it to everyone because well, we are EVIL thats what happens

I'm UA and this character has never been in a following, so i've never had much of an issue with what is appropriate with one alignment or another. People in an evil following tend to PK me and charge for me for my EQ, people in good followings tend to help me retrieve my corpse and will not except payment.

Anyway, this is still a RP mud, and an evil charatcer may do evil things. I think you take an expected risk when dealing with some one who is evil. I don't think what Hork did was good, but it doesn't have to be, he's in an evil following.

Rufus gossips (in common), 'i bid you all farewell, i shall never step foot in this realm ever again'.

I just think the situation has been blown out of proportion, and it really takes away from the mud when people feel forced to leave.

It was Rufus' choice to leave. Noone forced him. He wasn't happy with recent events, so he left. And while, perhaps this one situation has been blown way out of proportion, I don't think it was the single cause of all this commotion.

This wasn't the first time someone has decided to leave because of sour events. Nor will it be the last, I'm sure. Some people leave because they are just plain tired of it, or they feel there is nothing they can do to mend things. Others stand and fight and support their "home" to the bitter end, no matter the outcome. Just like in RL, everyone copes differently and makes different decisions.

I am saddened greatly to see the direction TFC has gone as far as players and playerbase. However, it's not the end. It can only be the end if you decide it is the end. DO something about it if you aren't happy with it. Bring new players, help the newbies that do come, advertise, fight... whatever you can to better the realm. Everyone has a different picture of their ideal realm. If you want yours to live, make it happen. Now that I've given my two cents' worth...
