Forum subscription allows you to keep an eye on a forum without having to check the website every day. Once you subscribe to a forum, you can be notified via email (daily or weekly) on any new post in that forum.
Subscribing to a forum is quite simple: from the main page, click on the link to the forum, and once in that forum, click 'Forum Tools' and 'Subscribe to this forum'. Note - you must subscribe to each forum (ie Announcements) rather than the parent forum (Announcements & How-TOs). Some followings might have 3 different forums, and if you wanted to watch them all, you'd have to subscribe to each one individually.
