View Full Version : My death and my revenge

Today I unfortunately died to Totec. Ill admit... I tried charming a few mobs and having them tank a large triple classed ordained shaman....this was not a mistake, but a learning experience, and i was rewarded for my courage with a blissful death.

I would only expect to be hunted by the nashite magi as I have proclaimed them to be my enemy and have slain many of their clan. However, with each accomplishment... i respectfully returned many useless items, and offered to sell back anything of value. I would expect, that i would be treated with the same respect. Although nothing in my corpse held substantial value, I was not given the oppertunity to repurchase any items. I was only taunted for my fearless stand. and my fearless death.

FAIR WARNING: For the unbalance of respect that I have recieved, i will now dry sac any Magi corpse that falls before me. I will not loot it. I will not give it back. I will sacrifice the entirety to my guide, IvoryTiger. Equiptment is meaningless, actions mean everything.

All is well, be well for us all.

I agree with the general idea assuming you're not talking OOC. :P

What did you expect from a Nashite, man? Never return crap, because it sure as hell ain't gonna get returned back to you.. especially from a Magi. They're all either Conclave alts or wannabes.

I don't know what the point is of having another evil nashite following. The original idea of the neutral following didn't follow any kind of neutrality and should have been evil to start with, however their actions and close relations with the conclave deemed them evil from the start. The Magi are just an extention of the conclave, another following for conclave alts to store eq on an immortal that may now be given out to whomever they wish since there is no long a godgift flag on following-owned equipment.

Isolas has never had an original idea for a following and only jumped on a band wagon in order to gain followers. His idea for a neutral nashite following backfired when he was forced to choose a side and naturally, he chose evil. Final challenge my rear-end!

Anyway, good luck to you, Menelaos. May your days of dry-saccing corpses be long and fruitful!

Hullo, Menelaos =)

I hear your words toward your intent for Magi corpses, and respect them. You were more than generous to me, and I respect that, too. (Menelaos returned my Justice-protected mob bags -- a sometimes dangerous collector's hobby of mine, after acid'ing them from my inventory some weeks ago.)

Back in the day, "Original Okk Day", as I tend to think of it, when I was first born and adopted by the Little Blue Ogre, there was another such as you, Menelaos. His name was Klavier, and his kung fu was strong. He dry-sacced mine, and then many others, so this is a concept with which I am intimately familiar.

If such is the way you wish to proceed, I again thank you for sparing my collection those weeks ago. Your generosity will be remembered by me.

say what you'd like, but the Magi and Conclave are completely different. we're only cool with each other in that we share the same God (NASH). i, myself aint that close to any Conclave same with the other active Magi i know. so you should stop accusing our FLI of cheating, that's somewhat againt the rules. i think this character (ananymous mammal) is just bitter for i don't know what reason. ;P

Nobody said he was a cheater that I've seen; he's just a bandwagon jumper. 'Oh no, I don't have as many followers as I wanted with my Magi following. How can I get more?! Oh, I can become a Nashite!'. It's relying on a known and feared name to promote an otherwise lackluster product.

You're not close to Conclave? Who cares? You still have to abide by the laws of Nashite and all that jazz.

After establishing quite the front, I will retract my statement.... for two reasons. One, I havn't had the time to hunt let alone kill.... and two... I feel like a hypocrite to my own ideals. The sole reason I return equipment after downing my opponent is to try and re-establish pk orientated morale so to speak. It is important to make a statement... or to make an example out of how the situation should be handled, with equipment return etc... as to help lift the fear from cowardly hearts. PK is not the end of the line, but a new beginning, and returning select items from the corpse that may be invaluable, but useful to a fallen opponent, helps to re motivate the victim. I see my thread has been abused, to slander the Nashite Magi, and I would like to present my own oppinion towards the matter. The Nashite Magi is NOT the force it is today solely because it is Nashite. Yes, there are some that would praise Nash in fear of Orpik, Piter, and other Conclave strengths. But I can attest to the fact that Isolas is the most active immortal pertaining to follower recruitment. He has always put in the time and effort to approach newbies, new chars, etc... as to gain trust and commitment. My personal grudge against the Nashite Magi is rooted in betrayals of their characters from my own leveling days... but it is not in any way directly related to Isolas. Yes, every nashite following is a Conclave want-to-be and every one has and will always be because the Black Conclave of Nashite is the foremost greatest following EVER to reign TFC. It is unavoidable to not be labeled as such in the shadow of a giant.

I apologize to Isolas for the slander that has consumed this thread, and I offer my respect to the strengths that he has built; However, I am forever consumed with distrust, and dislike towards many who choose to follow the red aura in general.

When my time returns with consistent activity to the realm of TFC I will continue to PK as I had once before, I will continue to return items AS I DEEM WORTHY, because that is the code in which I choose to conduct my will.

Aw, nobody likes a nancy-girl. Stick to your guns. Magi would be nothing if they hadn't gone Nashite. Now, could they survive without it after having had the boost? Sure.... just like I can somehow live without an umbilical cord attached to my mother these days, doesn't mean I didn't have to have one.

What a wuss. Have some *alls, man! You were right! There's no reason to post a retraction. The reasons for my post still stands. Isolas started as a neutral following and then changed to Nashite to draw in more followers when his vision of his following was failing. Then when the neutral alignment went through so much crap and he changed to evil there was no real reason to be Magi over being Conclave. What's the point of the Magi following now other than being another Conclave following to store and hoard equipment?

OOC: I retracted my statement because I didn't appreciate the immortal slander it had spawned into. I don't want to come off as a coward, but i felt the need to try and reverse the wave of negative energy, in fun... this is still just a game to me.

Immortals are people too. They should be able to be held under the same lens as a mortal... and you bet that a mortal who jumped factions just for a benefit like that would be mocked and ridiculed.
