A new command that allows you to empty the contents of one container onto the ground, or into another container.

Syntax: Empty <container> <container>

example:

empty saddlebag egg
empty egg ground

If the contents of one container dont fit in the second container, then the extra would either stay inside the first container, or spill out onto the ground.

Since no one else responded to this, I just want to say I think it's a good idea.

My only concern is if the Baldric 'feature' has been fixed or modified.
Please forgive my ignorance if it has. I remember some container drama from the previous Forums incarnation.

Furnock :eek:For anyone who doesn't remember, this drama consisted of mainly Orpik who would watch people switch stuff around in thier inventory by use of putting items into, or taking items out of, a cloth baldric. He would then drop a baldric on the ground. The victim would then unknowingly place thier item(s) inside the baldric on the ground. Orpik would then pick up the baldric and run away with the victim's items.

This happened because the get and put commands checked the items in the room for the target container first instead of looking at the character's inventory or worn items first. I'm not certain if this has been fixed yet or not. If it hasn't, beware of this trick.

I agree that an 'empty' command would be useful.
