Having trouble reaching TFC at mud.finalchallenge.net 4000? There are some alternatives.
You can try the web client at http://mud.finalchallenge.net/telnet/ . The underlying page also lists some MUD clients.
TFC can also be reached via several alternate ports, in the event your location is blocking port 4000. They are:
mud.finalchallenge.net 20
mud.finalchallenge.net 21
mud.finalchallenge.net 23
mud.finalchallenge.net 8080
